Current Craving: Muse Queue

In keeping with our original goal of building community within the framework of our zine, we are trying to think of a way for readers to interact without a great deal of nitpicking on our part. –We are involved in tons of Facebook groups, so we see how hard admins work to keep things running smoothly.

We’re sooooo new and have so much foundational blogging and promotions work to do before spreading ourselves into any other areas. Therefore, we’re not really ready for the responsibility of a forum on our site, nor a full-fledged Facebook group, we thought there might some way for you all to communicate with everyone at once. That’s when we started looking at the pile of cards and products of cool places, restaurants, services, etc. that we’ve run into, but that perhaps could use some more exposure. We decided to use what we have discovered as a foundation for a new blog section; Muse Queue.
You’ve heard the saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, band photos REALLY are, since they determine if someone is going to say “Hell, yeah!” or “Hell, no!” to listening to your kick-ass music. The long and the short of it is that, like us, if you know of a service or record store or donut shop or gift boutique—you get the idea—that you would like to add to our list, fill in the form at the bottom of the Muse Queue page and we will add it before the week is up. Be sure to send some kind of graphic—either you enjoying your product or the logo…. We want to know what items/experiences made your face light up and ignited that spark of creativity deep within. We also want to know how you discovered your muse-ful item/experience and/or how this—or newly discovered—great thing has impacted you and your creative abilities.
It is our hope that you will help some small business gain new fans/followers/enjoyers and that we might learn about some really cool new things as well.
