Discovery.
….Is working together for my good.
Let me explain. Through this originally sordid process, I have loved discovering new people, new social media outlets, new art, new D.I.Y., new perspectives, new quirkiness. Things that I would have NEVER probably have stumbled upon had I NOT been sucked in and had I NOT tumbled down into this YouTube frenzy abyss. (I feel like Stefon from “Saturday Night Live.” I found so many interesting people and places. "There are cosplayers wearing vampire teeth while carrying a dwarf and cuddling a cat. There are anime animators wearing Fonzie costumes with blowtorches melting Snickers bars into happy-hour cocktails" and lamenting about the end of the world as we know it. Yeah, those are my new friends and I will love them forever, thank you very much.)

I hate to admit it, but I have become a YouTube Troll. That’s the best way to put it. I feel like a crackhead, looking to score. A pimp, with some goods to solicit. A door-to-door salesman with some wares to hawk…
The best part about it is the adventure; not knowing what will happen in the journey. The worst part is that

addicted…
I wake up in the morning, check the stats and away I go…..

Hours every single day, since this started, are spent doing nothing but walking around my dining room—the treadmill’s out (but that’s another story for another post)—and dropping links; laying down my pitch for folks to give us a little of themselves, so that hopefully they get a little for themselves in return. Yes, we are giving of ourselves, but first, our "prey" must walk through that porthole, like a vampire that must be invited in….
