I have been doing a good job of keeping my promises to myself and NOT letting myself get bound up in overthinking, in negativity, or in doubting my own abilities. Instead, I have been making lists and just–almost on autopilot–getting shit done! 💥

Staying focused… 📸

I am PROUD of myself for putting my duties are in their proper place. THAT way, I feel good about doing what I think is important, but drop worrying about every consequence and/or sweating the results, since I CANNOT control the results–only the work I put in. And that’s what’s been helping me cycle through the LARGE amount of work WITHOUT spazzing out. 😬

Never can predict…. 🧚🏾‍♂️

What’s been weird is having these worldwide folks viewing—and listening—to our shit. It’s humbling to realize that the world is SO big that we CAN’T predict who in this BIG, vast world is going to be digging what we do. 🤷🏽‍♀️😊 So, even though our reach is STILL relatively small, when we check our stats—on ANY of the various platforms—and see views and plays of the music, videos, and podcasts that are in Africa or Belgium, we are surprised, tickled, and grateful that folks on the other side of the world discovered our content, in the first place. And the idea that MANY are coming back for MUCH more—as with Vietnam (with the “Tell Me What You Want” video (https://bit.ly/tellmewhatyouwantvid ))—or with Honduras (with the “Funkalicious” video (https://bit.ly/twebbfunkaliciousvid ))—or with Brazil (with the “Every Heartbeat” video (https://bit.ly/everyheartbeatvid )). —I guess ALL of this is a reminder to NOT ONLY keep putting our creative work out into the world, but also a reminder that you CANNOT predict WHICH piece of content will resonate with which populations.
