—I am not going to deny that we’ve been having some fun with this theme, but this is EXACTLY what Bruce said to me right after he “caught” me going down that digital planner rabbit hole….. 🐇 And right after shooting the Plum Paper Planner unboxing video (https://bit.ly/plumplannerunbox3). I couldn’t help but recognize the truth of the matter and that’s what gave rise to our slogan for this month. ….. It also has given us some sobering realization…...

Cheating?

What I mean is that it makes us have the hard talk with ourselves. For instance, if you say you want to move forward with doing something, but never do it, then aren’t you cheating on your creative vision? If you want to release a record, want to record some music videos, want to get a band together to work on some live shows, are you taking the steps to make that happen, or are you cheating on your vision by giving your time and energy to someone or something else?

Yeah, and I know that I KNOW the answer to that dilemma when it comes to which type of planner I am using,…… That’s the easy part. But I SERIOUSLY have to ask myself if I am cheating on my proposed plan to promote the heck out of this new album (https://bit.ly/BPJbandcamp )? Or if I am cheating on my own creative vision of having a music video for each of our songs? —I mean, it’s been 3 months since the last one was finished, so, if I am going to realize that goal, shouldn’t I be devoting time toward it? 😳🤷🏽‍♀️ —I had to remind myself that talk is so very cheap, but that it’s my actions that speak the loudest. Especially when it comes to actually SHOWING what we care about. 🏃🏽‍♀️

And if you’re like me, you can make all the rational excuses in the world….🌎 —Hey, we’re in a pandemic. Hey, my job is demanding more of me. Hey, have you actually TRIED home schooling??? —But In the end, though, that’s still not going to stop you from feeling rotten about yourself if you don’t make a plan, and then kick into action. That’s where I am now.
