What the HELL happened?! 🫢

–So, I am the FIRST one to ask what the hell is wrong with folks who drop off the face of the Earth and cease promoting their D.I.Y. Rock Star shit. –I question their loyalty to their creativity and their focus and their grit. I wonder if they are doing the BEST they can to make their D.I.Y. Rock Star dreams become a reality. –Well, this BIG, scary health crisis with Bruce has caused me to re-think that WHOLE argument.

Shaken, not stirred… 🥄

I will be the FIRST to say that I am shaken by this weird cosmic event that has occurred. However, I will also say that, after nearly 5 months of his recovery, I am starting to be emboldened, which means I am not stirred by the tasks at hand. –While I miss his partnership immeasurably, I KNOW that he would want me to CONTINUE to share the amazing things that we have ALREADY created and so, I am going to lean into THAT. –I am going to go back to the plans we made and find what I CAN do–and not focus on what can’t be done right now. I am going to re-commit to the joy that we created together and share as much as I can of that right now. This means that the Sunday “Classic Clips” (https://bit.ly/BPJFacebookGrp ) are going to continue, while I decide when and how to release the songs that we had ALREADY discussed releasing. I am going to keep my commitment to him, as he is healing, and cannot make ongoing decisions with me. I KNOW that when he is ready, there will be a space for him to slot himself in and make his presence known.

Holding space… 🚀

And you ALREADY know that I have been holding space on the Gab & Jam podcast (https://bit.ly/gabandjamhq )--by having our daughter, Zandalee Indigo (https://bit.ly/indieblackgirlblog ) and, now, me, doing solocasts–so that those who are interested in even a little what we have to offer won’t feel short-changed while Bruce is on the mend. –We are estimating that it MIGHT take until the end of the year to get Bruce back ready to share on-camera, so I am just sharing on the topics that I know best and leaving the ones that he’s expert at for him to tackle when he returns.
